Annie Macaulay breaks silence on 2Baba reconciliation rumours

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has broken her silence on rumours claiming she has reconciled with her estranged husband, music star 2Baba Idibia, dismissing the reports as false.

The actress reacted after an old video of her dancing and singing along to one of 2Baba's songs while appearing to rock him at a nightclub resurfaced online, sparking widespread speculation that the former couple had reunited.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Annie clarified that the viral clip was not recent and urged the public to ignore the claims.

"Old video circulating everywhere, false news everywhere!!!" she wrote.

The rumours gained traction amid unconfirmed reports circulating on social media suggesting that 2Baba is no longer in a relationship with his current partner, Natasha.

However, neither 2Baba nor Natasha has addressed those claims publicly, while Annie's statement appears to have been aimed solely at dismissing reports that she and the singer have rekindled their relationship.
